Mission
Journey is an emerging worship style set within a casual environment enabling the worshiper to encounter the story of Jesus in an experiential expression through teaching, song, prayer, and creative arts.
Vision
We hope to be a worship venue that awakens a community to the awe of Jesus the Christ.
Target
Journey is for the younger emerging generations who are getting their very first exposure to Jesus, for those who have become disillusioned with their Christian church experience, for those who desire to worship together as a family, and for those who feel like they don’t fit in. In short, it is for you.
Values & Philosophy
These help the world know who we are and what we are all about….
#1. Jesus
He’s the Man, actually THE God/Man, fully God and fully man, the creator in the flesh. He is our focus.
#2. Bible
It points us to Jesus, gives us words of life, God has written us a love letter. What else can we say? It’s THE God truth that we proclaim.
#3. Prayer
Imagine for a moment that we could actually communicate with almighty God. Wait a minute we can and we do.
#4. Spiritual growth
Life change is what we desire and aim for as we encounter Jesus. Expect to adventure out of your comfort zone.
#5. People
Come as you are. No perfect people allowed. All are welcome and all are loved by God. We will see you here in the gym.
#6. Relationships
No man or woman was created to be alone. We aim to have a community filled with authentic friendships, where no one is alone.
#7. Faith in Action
Practical acts of kindness toward our neighbor and radical obedience to Jesus is how we seek to live.
